Kirk Shivell founded Accurate Adjustment Company in 1997 after a distinguished career in insurance. Starting as an agent in 1987 and becoming a licensed appraiser in Massachusetts in 1994, he brought deep industry knowledge to Florida.

Together with his wife Robin (Co-Founder, Treasurer & Vice President) and son James (Expert Independent Appraiser & Claims Analyst), the family has built a strong reputation with local body shops and clients throughout Southwest Florida. For years we performed tens of thousands of independent field appraisals for major carriers. Today we proudly work exclusively for policyholders and claimants, using our insider expertise to counter aggressive insurance algorithms and help you recover the full value you deserve.

Robin is the heart of the office. She manages all administrative operations, schedules appointments, takes comprehensive notes on every claim, and serves as the primary point of communication with clients. Her dedication and attention to detail have been instrumental in building the company’s strong reputation with local body shops and clients throughout Southwest Florida.

James Shivell

James has been “checking the wrecks” with his father since he was five years old. A second-generation expert with over 10 years as an independent appraiser, he brings technical precision, fresh perspective, and the same unwavering commitment to fairness that defines the family business.
